Bird In Space

A narrative of the non human forces that direct bodies. In Greek tragedy, every individual character strives towards a good cause, but all these good intentions end up contributing towards a failure. There is no need for villains, for bad things to happen. Individual agents and their well-intended actions are not all that exists. The systems that mediate the interactions between individuals need to be considered. Systems, whether it be legislation, architecture or ‘faith’ as in Greek tragedy, need to be philosophically deliberated about. To consider and analyse the non-human forces that (in)form human existence. Not just to tell us how to live, but to also to take a stance on what the requirements are that enable and facilitate an ethical mode of living.
